How They Begin Their Day
Typically dieticians start off their day by sorting and planning. For starters, they check their patient’s information. They look for changes in health and diets, the weight fluctuations and how their health condition is.
Dieticians who work at hospitals first start off by visiting the patients who are residing in the hospital and those who are in need. They also converse with co-workers to get a clearer picture of the patient’s health.
After the in house visits and consultations are completed, other outside patients are then looked into.
Generally, dieticians prefer to see about 8 to 10 patients per day. But according to the demand, the numbers may vary. When consultation begins, dieticians check the patient’s reports and how their health and weight has been fluctuating. They record test results and changes in health. They also ask the patient’s about their diets, how well it has been working for them and any ups or downs.
The results of the final reports are later sent to the head of the nutrition department if working in the hospital.
